Feliz Navidad!

      Feliz Navidad!

Every year in December, we celebrate Christmas, which is one of the most wonderful times of the year for most of us. In contrast to prior years, the Philippines' Christmas celebrations are one-of-a-kind, but this year we won't be able to enjoy the usual joy and laughter that we've been accustomed to over the years. An ongoing global pandemic has disrupted our lives and left us in disarray. And due to this COVID virus, we are preoccupied with restrictions on how to spend Christmas this year with only members of the family who reside in the same household. But on the other hand, it can also do us good and keep us safe, so I believe that even though there are a lot of barriers, we can still exhort to celebrate Christmas in its purest form, in its simplicity, for the first time in contemporary history.

It is a worldwide cultural phenomenon and one of the most significant religious holidays. On Christmas Day, Christians and Catholics commemorate the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, a spiritual leader whose teachings form the foundation of their faith. It is one of the most eagerly anticipated seasons of the year for both Christians and Catholics. This year's Christmas celebrations, as well as the entire holiday season, will undoubtedly be unique. With this pandemic and all of the awful things going on in the world, we need to relax and enjoy ourselves. The COVID-19 pandemic has been a real bummer. The impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on the holiday season is greater than anticipated. Certainly, the coronavirus epidemic affected practically everyone, no matter the event, including Christmas and the holiday season. Even in the midst of the pandemic, Christmas still represents giving, loving, and renewed hope for a healthier, better future. It still refers to generosity and benevolence for all people, especially the poorest of the poor, especially at this time of epidemic. We won't be able to see many of our friends or family members, but we may hope for the best and work together to improve things for next Christmas.

This year has been challenging for all of us, but we remain hopeful. As a result, all of these factors, taken together, are the primary reasons why Filipinos will not be able to celebrate Christmas as they used to this year. We can still enjoy Christmas in our own unique ways. Despite the pandemic and the various challenges it has brought to the world, most notably in how Christmas celebrations and festivities have been altered and limited to some extent, the essence of Christmas has remained the same. However, we must remember that Christmas is about our Lord Jesus Christ, not about giving or getting gifts. He is the reason for the season's festivities. We will all get through this crisis together if we have a lot of faith, hope, and love. God is with us, has always been with us, and will always be with us, despite all of the chaos and fear that the pandemic has brought. We should work together to make the next holiday season a lot better.
