Generation Z

COVID-19 has been a problem for all of us since March of 2020. The year 2021 poses greater challenges and continuously aggravates underlying issues around the realization of children's rights as the country reels from the prolonged consequences of the pandemic. It aims to raise awareness about the importance of children's rights in the Philippines, as well as to continue to promote and safeguard them. Children's rights to survive, develop, be protected, and participate securely and fully have been interrupted since the global commencement of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and this has had an impact on their ability to thrive. In order to ensure that no kid, regardless of circumstance, is left behind, it will address a wide variety of concerns relating to children's rights to survival, growth, protection, and participation in the new normal setting this year.

The safety of children must be our top priority, and we must protect ourselves as well as our fellow youths. In today's society, it has had such a huge impact that businesses and schools have closed. Their physical and emotional health may also be harmed as a result, which is a major issue. On the other hand, COVID-19 makes it difficult for children to concentrate on their studies, both online and offline, because it is a new mode of learning to which they will have to adapt. Therefore, it has become a considerable problem for the children and their future.

As a child too, we need to ensure that we are protected, as well as everyone else. We need to help each other to help our fellow youth live happier lives. However, they are vulnerable, and we need to protect them and ensure they are safe. So now, they're giving vaccines to children aged 12 to 17 years old, which will be a massive help for the children since it will provide them with safety from the virus. This pandemic has caused us many problems, both physically and mentally, but let's never forget to protect our youth. Some children out there are not privileged, and we need to help them since they are the future of this nation. We are the future of our own nation.
