Generation Z

Imahe
Generation Z     COVID-19 has been a problem for all of us since March of 2020. The year 2021 poses greater challenges and continuously aggravates underlying issues around the realization of children's rights as the country reels from the prolonged consequences of the pandemic. It aims to raise awareness about the importance of children's rights in the Philippines, as well as to continue to promote and safeguard them. Children's rights to survive, develop, be protected, and participate securely and fully have been interrupted since the global commencement of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and this has had an impact on their ability to thrive. In order to ensure that no kid, regardless of circumstance, is left behind, it will address a wide variety of concerns relating to children's rights to survival, growth, protection, and participation in the new normal setting this year.      The safety of children must be our top priority, and we must protect ourselves ...

The Content Of What I've Learned During This Quarter

The Content Of What I've Learned During This Quarter    I finished one quarter and began a new one. I learnt a lot during this quarter's discoveries and learning, and I became adept at each of the many methods of communication during this quarter. The second quarter of ICT taught me a lot that I can apply in the future, and completing these entertaining activities while studying was a lot of fun. Despite how difficult and time-consuming it was as a student, I believe ICT was really beneficial to me. During this quarter, I was able to apply what I'd learned to new forms of communication. Given how much I had studied and grown, I learnt a lot about things I had no idea existed before, and the stress I was experiencing was perfectly warranted given how much I had studied and grown.    This quarter, we learned how to code in HTML. Creating webpages, in comparison to film, sound, or photography, is an entirely new kind of communication for me. Websites serve as...

Viva Vigan Festival

Imahe
Viva Vigan Festival    Culture is what distinguishes us from other races and characterizes our people. For Filipinos, Fiesta is a time of joyous celebration. Festivals, on the other hand, have become less fun and humorous in the wake of the pandemic. A festival, also known as a "fiesta," is a creative way to honor one's heritage, culture, and traditions. It also serves to shape our social lives by connecting us with our families and people of other races and origins. Our fiesta celebrations are already a part of our culture. In addition to the many blessings they have received, they use festivals to thank their patron saint for the many blessings they have received or to mark the start of something new. Not only does it allow people to express gratitude for their blessings, but it also gives Filipinos hope for a brighter future if they celebrate once a year.    The Vigan City Fiesta is held on the 25th of January each year. On the feast day of St. Paul the...

The Best Is Yet To Come

Imahe
The Best Is Yet To Come               A new chapter has begun, and we're on our way to a new beginning. It's the time of year when people mark the end of one year and the start of a new one. It is the day when people make new resolutions for their lives, which they intend to keep throughout the year. At the start of a new calendar year, many people want to start over with some personal or professional habits. We are human beings with both good and terrible qualities. When a child is born into the world, his or her heart is pure, and it absorbs everything it sees as it grows. When we reach adulthood, it is time to mold ourselves into excellent people. They decide to start again, leaving behind all of their negative experiences. They intend to make the most of the coming year by improvising and starting again with a renewed sense of purpose.    Everyone had a good time and adored each other as we gathered to celebrate. It's a new year,...

Feliz Navidad!

Imahe
Feliz Navidad!           Every year in December, we celebrate Christmas, which is one of the most wonderful times of the year for most of us. In contrast to prior years, the Philippines' Christmas celebrations are one-of-a-kind, but this year we won't be able to enjoy the usual joy and laughter that we've been accustomed to over the years. An ongoing global pandemic has disrupted our lives and left us in disarray. And due to this COVID virus, we are preoccupied with restrictions on how to spend Christmas this year with only members of the family who reside in the same household. But on the other hand, it can also do us good and keep us safe, so I believe that even though there are a lot of barriers, we can still exhort to celebrate Christmas in its purest form, in its simplicity, for the first time in contemporary history.    It is a worldwide cultural phenomenon and one of the most significant religious holidays. On C...
